MISSIONS & MINISTRIES
Our mission in life is to bring glory to God. We nurture our faith through worship, prayer, fellowship, education, and outreach across all life spans. We serve our community with care and compassion, engaging in both local and global missions and outreach.
PROJECT OUTREACH – FOOD PANTRY
We support our local food pantry serving the Royersford and Spring City communities with food and household items collected as part of our weekly offertory during worship. Members of our congregation serve at the Food Pantry monthly for community distribution.
MISSION FIRST
Our supplemental food donations are shared with Mission First's Food House and Kitchen servicing the Pottstown community.
We held a winter coat drive to collect coats and delivered two dozen coats were the week of February 2nd.
POTTSTOWN BEACON OF HOPE
Beacon of Hope provides year-round emergency shelter for Pottstown residents experiencing homelessness at the Warming Center. In January, members of our mission team provided a meal of beef barbeque, rolls, mac -n-cheese, and brownies.
T H E J AR E D B O X P R O J E C T
We engaged with The Jared Box Project for our 2025 Advent Mission.
The Jared Box Project has delivered countless smiles, laughter, and hope to children in hospitals across the country
for more than 20 years.
During our November Faith & Fellowship Gathering, congregation members decorated more than 20 boxes. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, Congregation members selected a box to fill with activities, toys, and a special message to the box recipient. The boxes will be delivered to surrounding participating hospitals to brighten the spirits and bring the gift of play to young patients as they navigate their hospital stays.
SOUTHEAST VETERANS ASSOCIATION
For the month of January, the focus mission of the cash jar in the back of the Sanctuary will be to benefit residents at the
Southeast Veterans Association.
Money collected will be used to purchase robotic pets (dogs, cats) to help patients suffering from dementia.
ECO PLASTIC PRODUCTS of DELAWARE (ECOP)
Plastic bottle caps and lids are collected to support Eco Plastic Products of Delaware, a non-profit organization. ECOP recycles eligible plastic items to make useful and sustainable consumer products with a mission to eliminate plastic waste. The consumer products are then donated to other non-profit organizations and can also be purchased by individuals, municipalities, companies, and organizations.
